Tragic Black makes an interesting style of music by mixing elements of old school goth, glam rock, new wave, deathrock, post-punk, industrial and electro, who attract fans from all over the music spectrum.
While the current line up (Vision - Vocals, Vyle - Bass, Seputus - Drums, Jesse James - Guitar, Stich - Guitar) is somewhat new, the founding members Vision and Vyle have released various self-released CD's since their inception in 2000. Released "The Decadent Requiem" on Strobelight Records in February 2006, and have numerous compilation & magazine appearances worldwide. Performed many concerts and festivals all over the USA as well as the WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN festival in Leipzig Germany in 2006 & 2008. Every Tragic Black CD has it's own unique sound as each release is related to a different element. The debut album "The Decadent Requiem" was the element of fire. "The Cold Caress" is the water element concept album Released August 17th 2007 on Strobelight Records with lyrics related to the story "In The Cold Caress" by Vision. Tragic Black has performed with such artists as; All Gone Dead, Android Lust, Adrian H & the Wounds, Ausgang, Bella Morte, Bloody Dead and Sexy, The Brides, Carphax Files, Cinema Strange, Clit 45, Combichrist, David J, The Deep Eynde, Dirty Weather Project, Dismantled, Domiana, Element, Frankenstein, Götterdämmerung, Human Drama, Imperative Reaction, Kill Hannah, The Last Dance, London After Midnight, New Days Delay, Penis Flytrap, Pins & Needles, Radio Scarlet, Redemption(bound), Scarlets Remains, Shadow Reichenstein, Stolen Babies, Super Heroines, System Syn, Victim Effect, Voltaire and many others. In November 2007, Tragic Black set out on a European Tour in countries including; Germany, Austria, Belgium, Norway, while recently performing their second time at the Wave Gotik Treffen Festival in Leipzig Germany.
Now they are working on new music, planning more gigs all over the Earth and feeling ready to rock!
